New VPN Tracker Beta 4.5.1 (1B79) Released

By VPN Tracker

We have released the next 4.5.1 beta and it awaits itensive testing. Looks almost as if we’d make a habbit out of it, but some issues have been reported to us and we thought it is a good idea to have these fixed by a new beta version, so you don’t have to wait for the final release to have these fixed. If you have further issues with this beta version, please let us know, we’d love to fix these as well.

Here are the changes:

  • Fixed an issue where XAUTH prevented Client Provisioning from working properly
  • Fixed an issue with DNS and location switches
  • Less logging (makes the whole system speedier)

New VPN Tracker Beta 4.5.1 (1B77)

By VPN Tracker

Maybe the last 4.5.1 beta version before the final release; at least all the major issues you have reported to us should be fixed now and so far we did not get any negative feedback about any 4.5.1 beta release. So we’d like to invite you again to test our latest beta version and send us any feedback that comes to your mind. And if the issue you have reported to us is not fixed in this version, don’t worry, we are most likely already working on it.

Among some minor changes, here is what we improved:

  • An issue that prevented DHCP over IPSec (SonicWALL) to work reliably over a dial-up or direct Cable/DSL connection has been fixed

New VPN Tracker Beta Version 4.5 (1B69)

By VPN Tracker

equinux has released a new beta version of VPN Tracker 4. As a courtesy to all our customers using SonicWALL devices, we implemented a new way of Client Provisioning called DHCP-over-IPSec. The current implementation of this feature is fine-tuned for SonicWALL customers and will in fact only work with SonicWALL devices. However, even if you don’t have a SonicWALL, this beta version contains all fixes for minor issues we collected over the time, so everyone is invited to try it and comment on it.

The current beta version (1B69) includes the following improvements:

  • DHCP-over-IPSec for SonicWALL
  • New file handling routines

Your feedback and especially your testing is very appreciated. Don’t hesitate to send us your positive and, of course, also your negative experiences you made with this beta version.

Selling internationally, why not sell on eBay Poland?
We want iSale to support as may eBay countries as possible. We currently support a variety of eBay Sites on both sides of the Atlantic. Then we thought, “Hmm, let’s go inland. How about adding eBay Poland to our list of supported sites?” We gathered some information, made a couple tweaks to iSale and wouldn’t you know it, iSale now fully supports eBay Poland.

As a minor, but “oh so needed” update, we have now included the purchaser’s email as a direct link in the “Sales and Status Screen.” If you need to email the buyer, all you do is click on the email link; your default mail program will open with the purchaser’s info in the “To” box of your email program.
