Thank you for your overwhelming interest in the Live TV and TubeToGo iPhone apps, we are pleased to announce that these two amazing iPhone apps are now available on the iTunes store. So download them now to turn your iPhone into the coolest TV in the house!
Live TV is the first iPhone app that totally integrates the iPhone with the TV experience! It allows you to stream live TV programs directly to your iPhone from your Mac whilst also enabling you to remotely start a recording in The Tube.
On top of that TubeToGo allows you to access your TV recordings on the go wherever you happen to be whilst also allowing you to program recordings for The Tube remotely so you will always have something to watch.
Live TV and TubeToGo – still waiting in line
Apple seems to be very busy these days reviewing new apps. That’s cool as we see a lot of great app ideas reaching the plattform every day, like iFart Mega Fart, iFart Mobile or Furzmaschine. Too bad that our two apps TubeToGo and Live TV are still waiting in line for approval and show the status “In Review” for more than two weeks now.

The Tube’s now prepared for iPhone and Pinnacle’s nanoStick
The Tube 2.9.2 supports the upcoming iPhone App, Live TV, which is hopefully available soon. Apple is still reviewing the app. But we’re pretty sure that you’ll soon be able to enjoy all the TV channels that The Tube 2.9.2 receives – on your iPhone. Watch all available channels on your iPhone via Placeshift in the same WLAN as your Mac. And for all you Pinnacle PCTV nanoStick users out there – now you can join in on all the fun too! Time to get excited about the improved & boosted version of The Tube.
Where to start?? We’ve gone more international. In addition to English, German and French, The Tube 2.8 is now also available in Italian and Spanish. It even speaks MobileMe, in case you’d like to store your TubeToGo webgallery there.
We’ve also fixed some glitches that could occur when switching channels or watching TV with the TubeStick (hybrid), and have improved EPG functionality, reception of local channels and a few other things as well.
