Still looking forward to the next WebKit
Apple has updated its Safari Public Beta to version 3.0.2. It addresses all known security issues, increases stability and improves WebKit support for Mail, iChat and Dashboard. Unfortunately there are still some issues in WebKit that prevent both iSale and CoverScout from working properly when the Safari 3 Beta is installed. We’ve already informed Apple and look forward to one of the next versions of Safari 3 that will hopefully address these issues. Now, if you use iSale or CoverScout, be sure to get our latest releases: iSale 4.1.3 and CoverScout 2.3.4 to prevent your eBay auctions or cover artwork searches from running into trouble. Both updates are free for registered users, so get them today!
iPhone has landed in iSale
Selling iPhones on eBay? Just a joke… but even though AT&T is the only carrier in the US that sells iPhones you can sell any cell phone related article or accessory on eBay with iSale. We’ve included some iPhone-styled templates in our latest iSale Template Pack. But because the iPhone isn’t everything you’ll also find some more common templates in order to boost your sales for whatever items you’re selling with iSale on eBay. Simply stylish templates for your auctions.
Running iSale with the latest Tiger…
Already updated your Tiger to Mac OS X 10.4.10? Then you should also update your iSale to 4.1.2. We improved the overall performance and stability with Apples’ new OS X-Update. We also had to prevent our customers from running into problems with the first Public Beta of Safari 3. Because it brings a new WebKit that isn’t as stable as the last final build, it affects iSale’s HTML handling and can lead to corrupted and illegible listings on eBay. Therefore, we recommend that you do not use Safari 3 Public Beta in a production environment. iSale 4.1.2 is free for all registered users. Get your copy today!
CoverScout 2.3.3 prepares iTunes for iPhone
Apple changed the functionality of the iTunes music library with their latest release. If you’ve already rebuilt your library with iTunes 7.2, you should get CoverScout 2.3.3. This release of our CoverScout works even better with the newest release of iTunes. We definitely wouldn’t want you to miss out on any covers you might need for the upcoming iPhone, your iPod or even Apple TV. CoverScout 2.3.3 is free for all registered users! So don’t hesitate to download the software and continue searching for all your missing albums.
WWDC, iPhone and other Negligibilities
After three days at WWDC every developer can spell i-p-h-o-n-e forwards and backwards. Apple is heavily promoting development for its upcoming cell phone and wants every developer to polish up on their Web 2.0 skills in order to build something for the iPhone. Maybe the guys in Cupertino are just a little bit nervous about their first step into the world of mobile communications? Anyhow we’re enjoying the conference and ourselves as you can see in our latest pictures.
