Boosted performance and stability with The Tube 1.1.1

Posted in TubeStick on 25.05.07

We didn’t want to leave for the weekend without fixing some important issues with The Tube. Our developers pushed the right buttons and boosted performance, especially when watching TV in full screen or using a G4 or G5 computer. We’ve also optimized the reliability of the EPG-information for each channel and improved the keyboard control. By hitting the spacebar you are now able to pause the running program.

For all multi-lingual people we’ve optimized the multi audio track detection and localized The Tube in French. Isn’t that something. Oui, c’est vrai. The Tube sait parler francais maintenant.

The Tube 1.1.1 is a free update for registered users and is shipped together with TubeStick. TubeStick can be pruchased either at your local Apple Retailer
or directly at the equinux Online Store.

iSale 4.1 – It’s Google-icious

Posted in iSale on 24.05.07

Today we are releasing the the 4.1 update for our award-winning eBay listing and management application iSale. This latest release offers a slew of updates that will make your eBay experience even simpler and more affordable.

Along with the all the updates and fixes we have impletemented two notable features that are each geared directly to existing iSale users. iSale now supports Google’s Picasa Web Albums as an optional picture service. This will allow registered Google or Picasa users to host their own images thereby avoiding additional eBay listing fees. For those of you who are not registered with Picasa, don’t worry, it’s free. (Learn more about Picasa Web Albums)

Another great new feature is the ability to select multiple autions. Now you can more easily group, print, export and even delete multiple auctions all at the same time rather than doing so one-by-one. This is great for those iSalers who have libraries with over a hundred or possibly hundreds of auctions.

No iSale update without new template layouts. That is for sure. iSale is now offering more than 160 different template designs, to customize your auctions. The latest once we’ve added are dedicated mainly to collectibles or electronic items, but can be used for other category listings, too.

To view all the changes in this version have a look at the iSale latest feature page or download page. This update is free for all existing iSale 4.x users. Full versions are also available at our online store as well as through equinux Authorized Resellers.

Back in time: The Tube 1.1

Posted in TubeStick on 10.05.07

The Tube 1.1 now jumps back in time: With its new timeshift feature you can not only pause and rewind your current TV program but also record TV shows subsequently from an earlier point in the show. How far back you can rewind a TV show depends on when you selected the channel and how much disk space The Tube has been assigned. Once a channel has been picked, The Tube 1.1 automatically starts storing the show in the timeshift-cache. The Tube 1.1 also allows you to export your recordings in different qualities to Apple TV, your iPod or in iMovie. The Tube 1.1 is a free update for registered users and is shipped together with TubeStick.

PS: From now on the equinux Online Store also accepts Paypal!
