We are extremely proud to announce (as noted by our not so subtle hints) that VPN Tracker now supports the “Load Balancing” features of the “Cisco Concentrator Series.” With the countless features that are packed into VPN Tracker, Macs are now one step closer to taking over the computing world. Version 4.1 improves the VPN Tracker 4 release with the following changes:

• Support for Load Balancing (Cisco Concentrator)
• Better thread locking in the kernel extension
• Fixed an issue where outgoing NAT-T packages could cause a stack overflow
• Pre-shared key is now sent as UTF-8 string
• Fixed an issue where application icon would not display correctly

New Beta Version Released

equinux has released a new beta version of VPN Tracker 4.
The current beta version (1B59) includes the following improvements:

  • Fixed the issue that caused umlauts and other special characters to not be saved correctly when used in a pre-shared key
  • Fixed the error that caused the VPN Tracker icon to not display correctly in dialogs

VPN Tracker Beta Program Announced!

equinux has just begun a Beta Program for our VPN Tracker users. If you meet the appropriate qualifications, you will be able to test future versions of VPN Tracker before its release. We are doing this, as many others do, to be certain that when a new version is released, there will be no hiccups in the updated program. This Beta Program will bring us, the equinux team and you, our loyal clients, one step closer thereby giving us the ability to recognize the needs and features of the end-users much sooner than ever possible before.

We would like those who are interested in joining our Beta Program to:

  • be professional users familiar with IPsec VPNs
  • have the resources to test beta software and provide feedback
  • have ability to send log files and configuration information from both sides of a given connection

In this current Beta of VPN Tracker - VPN Tracker 4 (1B58), the following feature(s) has been added:
